This 4 hour course based on Oregon Rule and Law for Electricians is REQUIRED for the (J) GENERAL JOURNEYMAN, (S) LIMITED SUPERVISING ELECTRICIAN (PS) and (LR) LIMITED RESIDENTIAL ELECTRICIANS and introduces the student to electrical amendments and rules adopted by Oregon, including the Oregon Electrical Specialty Code (OESC), based on the 2020 National Electrical Code. In addition to the OESC (150 minutes), Statewide Code Interpretations (45 minutes), Appeals Process (15 minutes), and Location of Electrical Requirements(10 minutes) are addressed.
